Hey guys, this is my first blog post. Hope you like it. I've heard many women rave about the OILS OF LIFE from THE BODY SHOP and I finally got my hands on it (I know its been a long time since they launched it). I have been trying this for a month and OMG! my skin has been thanking me for using this ever since.
Packaging:
It is a glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the product also it's travel friendly..phew!!..
The oil is a fusion of three other essential oils,
- Black cumin oil from Egypt (rich in antioxidants)
- Rosehip oil from Chile (rich in Omega 3 and 6)
- Camellia from China (rich in Oleic acid)
Claims:
After 4 weeks, signs of ageing appear reduced-wrinkles appear minimised, skin feels more elastic and firmer.
Ingredients:
Application:
Apply 1-2 drops onto face and neck and gently massage into skin every morning and evening before applying a cream. Avoid eye area. Suitable even for sensitive skin.
What I felt?
Ever since day one,I've been loving this oil. It gives a velvety finish and helps my foundation glide on better. There is this misconception that facial oils are only for people with dry skin but that is not true. I have combination skin yet it works well on me. Also some complain that this oil makes their skin oilier during the day and that is totally because of excess application. Two drops is more than enough for the entire face. This oil can be used twice a day but if you are someone who wishes to apply it only once then i would highly recommend you to use it at nights as it opens up your pores, seeps into your skin and does its magic through the night. At day, do your CT routine aka Cleanse, Tone, apply the oil and then moisturize and apply sunscreen before doing your makeup for the perfect blank canvas. At night, again do your CT routine, apply the oil and then apply your night cream. The best part is it cruelty free. This oil satisfies all it's claims when a proper skin care routine is followed. The only con has to be the price.
